It seems like today everyone would like to lose a few pounds. With shows such as “The Biggest Loser” and “Extreme Weight Loss” people are motivated more than ever to lose weight. For years, people have been using the Total Gym to exercise and lose weight in the comfort of their own homes. Well now for the first time ever Total Gym has followed a group of people using the Total Gym and a sensible diet to lose weight. Total Gym Pulse is excited to bring you exclusive coverage of the very first Total Gym Challenge!



Total Gym took 14 people with 14 different weight loss goals and put them through 14 workouts. Fitness trainer, Total Gym Pulse contributor and long time Total Gym user Rosalie Brown led the group in workouts over a three week period. Their workouts included cardio, strength training and stretching – all on the Total Gym

In Week 1, you will meet the participants, learn their fitness goals and watch them in their first workout. Episode 1 features the weigh in along with reactions from the participants on what it is they are hoping to achieve from taking the challenge.

  1. How many days a week should I do the Total Gym fitness challenge dvd in order to see results?
    I just started it and I love it! Rosalie, you are the best!

    1. Hey Judy, the participants in the program we conducted followed the workout 5 days a week for 2 weeks and 4 the third week. If you are wanting to do more than that, just continue doing 5 days a week.

      1. Thank you for getting back to me. However, Rosalie Brown had gotten back to me in regards to the total gym challenge and how many times a week to do it. Total gym is truly lucky to have her as a representative, as she is a treasure!

  2. Where can I find the the 3 week challenge workout routine that the 14 participants did. I bought a Total Gym Fit and have let it somewhat intimidate me for about 6 months – I happened upon the infomercial this morning and saw the end of the challenge – and thought maybe this is how I can conquer my goals and this equipment!!! I know that if I can start seeing results the commitment will be a no brainer. Thanks for your help!!! Kindest Regards,

  3. Is there a video or DVD available of the Total Gym 14 Day Challenge with the 14 participants working out everyday from beginning to end?! I want to workout with the video and the 14 people, as if I were there. I’m so ready to start my challenge!

  4. Can one use the XLS for the challenge or does one have to buy the FIT?

    1. You can most definitely use the Total Gym XLS, just make sure you have all of the attachments needed or alternate exercises planned if you don’t 🙂

  5. Are you going to be doing another total gym challenge? If so I would love to be apart of it. I haven’t been able to work out for 2 year now due to a medical diagnosis that caused me severe problems. But I need to start working out again.. I also need to lose 20 lbs and tone my body. The disease I have had has taken everything out of me. It’s July 2018 and I would love to be in a class with 14 plus other people to show me what to do and not hurt myself. Thanks, Trish
